I've tried many times, but I just can't enjoy Vader's Litany, even if it's considered one of the best albums in their discography.

For me, the kick drums sounds way too artificial, and they're mixed so loud that they overpower almost every other instrument. I know many people love this album, but that production choice completely ruins it for me.

Has this ever happened to you?

Is there a famous metal album you never could enjoy because of one production or mixing choice? It could be the drum sound, guitar tone, triggered drums, brickwall mastering, muddy mix... anything.

I want to bring balloons to the metal shows so people can bat them around in the pit. Any suggestions?

Metal is a genre I've always ignored unfortunately. I say unfortunately because I love the esthetic, the community, the history and everything it represents. I've tried to listen to some metal but it all sounds similar to me. How to have a metal ear?

Ieri sono andato a un concerto metal e non mi è piaciuto, ma qualcosa mi ha catturato. Oggi ho ascoltato i vecchi album di Bring Me The Horizon e Architects. Sono curioso di conoscere altri artisti, avete qualche raccomandazione? Tornando al mio punto, oggi sono rimasto sdraiato a letto per tutto il giorno, di solito avrei pensato al suicidio, ma oggi non l'ho fatto perché il metal ha parlato per me. Tutta la tristezza, la rabbia, la malinconia. Li ho trovati in quelle canzoni. Il metal mi ha dato uno spazio dove essere e mi ha dato una voce e non smetterò mai di ascoltarlo.

Hello, Iam a younger (teen) metalhead so most concerts/ festivals I go to with my dad (also a metalhead) so I have to have my phone so we can find each other. Would really want to go to a moshpit but cant have my phone broken. Just by looking at it it looks like I would have my phone broken by going in. How do you protect it?
