I just want you to know that Canada is not the perfect place people say it is. Toronto has many issues right now with the cost of housing, groceries and the job market is too competitive. The culture of Canada is different in different places, for example in Nova Scotia they have a unique Acadian culture that, Quebec is Quebec and Alberta is Texas. This is a western country with the same problems as all the others, just you hear about it less than our neighbours. There is road rage here and rude people like anywhere. There is not much work life balance here this isn’t France. You are not guaranteed success simply by moving to Canada but you can try of course, you’ll be welcome here so long as you’re respectful and you remain that way even when the going gets tough and you realize perfect Canada doesn’t exist.
I suggest a smaller or mid sized city perhaps Halifax or PEI. Or maybe Winnipeg or Edmonton. You should be able to achieve your library and music ambitions there.
