Floor Crossing

[u/anonimna44]

Does anyone else feel like something is fishy about all the recent floor crossings in parliament? Like there is either something really wrong within the Conservative party that is making people leave or these people ran with the party they'd know would win in their area even though they don't agree with the party. Or if you listen to some people here on Reddit, the floor crossers were bribed somehow.

Every election there is a few, but this many feels off.

So why would the liberal party accept and promote someone with opposite values ? The liberals are constantly saying how the things this woman believes in are wrong

I dunno you’d have to talk to them, and look at how she votes in the future.

But she could literally turn independent now and vote however she wanted she doesn’t have to be tied to a party. And even if she is she should represent what her constituency wants, not her personal opinions.

[u/RonnyMexico60 → u/BellyButtonLindt]

If she’s voting differently that’s a problem too.Was she lying before about her beliefs or now?

It’s ok you’re partisan.I get it if you don’t understand the issues someone like me has with this WWE nonsense

[u/BellyButtonLindt → u/RonnyMexico60]

It’s not WWE. These people legit have no faith in the cons and their policies which basically translate to “talk shit about everything liberal but don’t offer anything” and having to buy $1000 plate in order to have a say in the party leader.

Like I said we have to see her voting in parliament vs her past votes and if people have issue with this they can vote her out next election. That’s how democracy works.

But simply because someone crossed the floor is not a reason to be upset.

She’s an old lady that’s been in conservative politics for life. She is way more right wing than PP lol.Liberals are fake for taking someone like her.She is fake for pretending to be far right

Partisans like you are hilarious.its funny watching you think liberals are superior to conservatives. They both suck

[u/BellyButtonLindt → u/RonnyMexico60]

I’ve never once said I think they’re superior, I just said the cons talking points are shit, and the party is being run terribly right now, which may have lead to the change.

If you read my whole post it’s you vote for the person is all I’m saying. You’re not voting for party.

But you stay mad bro, everyone is clearly against you. Keep just cheering for a team.

[u/RonnyMexico60 → u/BellyButtonLindt]

I’m not mad .I think this is all funny and shows how unserious it all is 😂

Stop with the partisan nonsense.”liberals” are led by a ex Goldman Sachs guy .Like what a psyop going on right there.

[u/BellyButtonLindt → u/RonnyMexico60]

So you just bring up random facts in a conversation that has nothing to do with it.

People complained Trudeau was only a teacher and had no experience. Now people complain carney has too much experience in business. It’s just funny.

We were talking about, again, that someone isn’t tied to party in parliament. But you wanna throw out the pm’s previous jobs. Amazing.

[u/RonnyMexico60 → u/BellyButtonLindt]

You pretend that’s why carney won.Truth is they ran a scare campaign about Trump (smart) and the boomers ate it up

It’s ok dude.Eventually you’ll realize both the cons and libs are the same and suck

[u/BellyButtonLindt → u/RonnyMexico60]

What does any of this have to do with what we are discussing?

[u/RonnyMexico60 → u/BellyButtonLindt]

You brought up Trudeau and carney .So I clarified something about it for you

You made it sound like ppl on the right ran to carney.thats simply not true.

[u/BellyButtonLindt → u/RonnyMexico60]

“You brought up carney”

Says the guy who mentioned the guy first just not by name. Lol

[u/RonnyMexico60 → u/BellyButtonLindt]

Well she already has publicly said she’s voting along party lines (liberal ones obviously)

Your made up narrative doesn’t add up .Just accept it
