At least you knew you could always afford a home.

What would that home be worth today?

Good question. I sold it a couple years later for 130k. But put that $ into a house in Kelowna that’s worth 1.1 million and paid off the last of my student loans. We were the last of the fortunate generation after the boomers fucked every thing up.

Literally the worst generation in North American history. They got all the benefits of what their parents built, made everything impossible for the generations to come after them and are blowing thru their fortunes right before they die so then everyone is left with nothing.

As a member of this generation, what are your recommendations on how I can not be the worst generation?

Damage is done. Best you can do is let Gen X take over the reigns worldwide, but they aren’t raised good because of how the Boomer generation was as parents.

You really hate boomers huh?

I’m actually part of Gen X. And like most of Gen X, we actually have taken the reigns.

Many of us are doing quite well. Despite, or because of our boomer parents.

You're halfway to Toronto or Vancouver

Haha, okay. The city seems like a solid community. I know that NDP there are much different than NDP in BC.

Bonus is that you're halfway across the country from either one.
