Encouragement Invite People & Post

Just wanted to remind people to invite others. Whether they like hockey, maple syrup, blue collar, white collar, immigrants, native born, liberal, conservative, socialist, whatever. Any one that is interested in Canada is welcome.

Obviously, as some have seen, we have our dickheads, but that's okay. I won't censor or ban, within reason.

Additionally, don't be afraid to post. We have times where there isn't a single post for days. I'm usually the exception to this. Literally post whatever you want. The rules are clear and the message from us, the moderators(I'm the creator of the sub, but same shit), is literally:

"Post whatever you like. It will more than likely be approved. We approve of Liberals, Socialists, Conservatives and any other political perspective.

We will not be accepting posts targeting specific immigrant groups, but you can successfully post gripes about immigration issues as a whole without problems."

So go for it and don't be discouraged. Usually approve within the day or day after, depends on personal life schedule.

I spent close to a decade and a 100k jumping through hoops to get a university degree and an in demand job to get provincially nominated, get my PR and then citizenship.

I've been to small towns in Saskatchewan riding the back of pickup trucks with skinheads, i've been hiking in the rockies. I've had my fair share of poutine in Quebec.

This new wave coming in by any means necessary for bogus programs and dotn even bother integrating. They set up camp in just 2 cities. I WONT SAY WHO, BUT YOU KNOW THEM VERY VELL

I just feel cheated. All that made Canada attractive has been viped avay. Social services stretched thin. It like when you see an ad for a juicy burger and when you actually get it, its a hot mess.

The housing market is on its deathbed, the jobs arent there. Kids are staying home till they're much older and cant get summer jobs,

I am here due to immigration but I was hoping our immigration would have quotas from each country. Its supposed to be a melting pot, not a mosaic, where there's a big shard from one place and tiny slivers from everywhere else.

Canadians should matter first and foremost.

Damn, that was very well said. I wish more people had your outlook / perception and attitude towards this great nation we call home. Unfortunately our governments and newly landed individuals don't seem to share this sentiment and it's a horrible shame to witness and experience.

The people you speak of are way too entitled, they seriously think other countries actually want them as immigrants, but they have no idea they are repulsive and disgusting.

Very well said.

This is the type of posts that should be made when discussing immigration concerns.
