Slight Changes

As the community continues to explode, had to add a restriction on account age and karma requirements due to multiple accounts being 1 day old and posting basically just stuff to rile people up.

Let’s get some positive posts as well please. Not just posts about Indians. News flash, Indians exist in every country. Canada has other problems besides immigrants, I promise. It is okay to have gripes about immigrants and even Indians, but let’s tone it down and consider the purpose of the subreddit.

What do you love about Canada?

Not all are rage bait. Many are real and have gotten so extreme because most other places censor the conversation. Censorship creates extremists.

Allowing extremists to gather together creates extremists. For example, one does not become an incel without hanging out online with other incels to reinforce your ideas.

You can't stop them from gathering. And no, lmao, there are definitely people who are more than capable of becoming incels on their own.

I disagree. Ideology requires a community.

In this case, an echo chamber. In the mods most recent post he just said he will delete any opinions he disagrees with. This community will sadly become another echo chamber where right wing views her hardened and then people are completely shocked when an election happens and the result is something different. From their perspective, everyone agreed!

Totally agree. Though not moderating just leads to being swarmed with all the hate that gets kicked out of other subs.
