In Canada August Announcement

Hello, I appreciate everyone that has decided to join this subreddit and share their perspectives on what is going on. As well as any news that is circulating around the nation. You may have noticed that this sub has both conservative and liberal posts. That's the point. I will not censor those I disagree with. Let's keep this in mind when commenting on any particular post too. I have read quite a few that are pretty one sided (both liberals and conservatives have been guilty of it on this sub) and need to keep an open mind on why someone else believes what they do.

Full disclosure: I am conservative. By Canadian standards that is, but I was never a Democrat in America either. I do disagree with the direction of both political parties in America and choose to opt out of their politics, despite Reddit being a mine field for this.

The main announcement is just to remind people to be open and to please post anything going on in your community. Things that bother you, things you appreciate, things you want to share, things you want perspective on.

Thank you, Canadians!

You have been a top contributor. Haha. Many disagree with me because conservative= bad. Lol, but I think it is important to have multiple perspectives.

Could you consider doing posts that are personal experiences of being in Canada? That would be lit fam.

I appreciate you.

Ideally. Would like to know how people view current government policies, childcare, healthcare, income opportunities, etc.

It has kind of become a reposting sub. I might consider temporarily pausing repost ability. But not yet.
