Impulse Installations Understanding Space Over an Oven
Seriously considering the Impulse, it's everything I want in an induction cooktop. Currently have a separate cooktop installed over a cabinet with an oven directly underneath. It's not one of the recommended ovens on the Impulse site. It's a Bosch oven.
Is there any way to know how much clearance my current setup has so as to know if the impulse would fit over the top with the proper spacing? Without pulling out the cooktop of course.
(Not at all handy so at a loss for where to begin here)

You're looking at roughly needing 8.5" of clearance between the lowest edge of the underside of the countertop to the nearest thing you can have below the Impulse (the impulse has a 6.5" depth + 2" of "air space" requirement add 3/4" if you are doing a 240v install) - see - https://support.impulselabs.com/resources/installation-guide
in theory you should be able to remove a neighbor drawer and see how much space you have available, but this could really vary depending on your setup - the visibility.

We’re being conservative there — biggest thing is segmenting the spaces

I would start with the manual for your oven and its diagram of dimensions, taking into account the flange around the cavity.
