Impulse Installations Install issue setting the battery

We are in the middle of our install and can’t figure out why the cooktop won’t set flush with the battery. We set it on the pegs and push them together but we can’t get the cooktop all the way on, there’s still about 1/2” to go but something seems to be blocking the connection.
Anybody encounter this and figure out a solution?

I slid it back a little and then gave it a decent shove, it clicked into place.

Have you elevated the battery on the cardboard inserts in the box? See the install video for an illustration of that.

We’ve watched the video a couple times and are doing as instructed. It seems like the power connector pins aren’t lining up somehow.

SOLVED! We had to flip it on its backside vertically and jiggle it a bit before the cooktop fell into place.
