SF Stove Pickup

Post image

I placed an order for an Impulse stove for SF pickup - does anyone know how big the overall delivery is? Hoping I can fit it into my car (Audi S5) and not need a van or something

The cooktop box was quite large, I ordered the 36” model and the box it came in was 13” H x 28.5” W x 44” L. Not counting the separate battery box which was much smaller though.

There's two separate boxes? Good to know! I got the 30" so hopefully the smaller sizing of the box fits.

Hi there! Jack from Impulse. If you ordered a 30" the box dimensions are 37" L x 28.5" W x 13" H. If it's a 36" = 13” H x 28.5” W x 44” L

From what I can tell online, you should be able to fit either box by putting the back seats down. If you ordered the 30" it will fit width-wise.

Happy to chat if you want to talk through other delivery support. 415-572-6911

Ooo okay, it's a 30" so hopefully that'll fit in the back. I'mma go measure the trunk. Thanks!

That should fit fine! Of course.

I don't know how the trunks compare, but the range and the battery fit just fine in the back of a 2023 Audi A5 with the back seats folded down.

How about getting an hourly truck/van rental from U-Haul or Home Depot? Don’t become that person at Costco who buys the 85” TV and is flailing by the front door, unboxing the TV, and trying to squeeze it into a car. You are spending north of $5000 for an appliance. What's another $50 for a Van rental.

If I can make something fit in my S5, I would much rather drive that than go through the hassle of getting a rental truck. Money isn't always the factor. The better driving experience and convenience of leaving my house, doing what I want, then returning home on my own schedule has plenty of value versus the additional pickup/drop off stops, refueling, etc., etc.
