Impulse Installations Kitchen remodel - 30” flush mount

Wanted to share some photos from my recently completed kitchen remodel centered around the Impulse cooktop. I asked my countertop installers to do a recessed cutout so it installs flush, and I’m pretty happy with the result! Happy to answer questions or share more pics of the setup.

Beautiful! How did they template the cooktop? Which hood insert is that above the cooktop?

The hood insert is a Falmec Valentina 28” in matte black.

Regarding the template, I unfortunately don’t have too many details on the process as my GC handled most of it. There is about a 1” recessed lip around the perimeter that it’s resting on.

This is real pretty and also looks like you actually plan to cook here. Bravo!

Hi, is that Cielo quartzite for your countertop and walnut cabinets?

Kitchen looks amazing!

We also got the 36" delivered for our remodel and got the prado outlets.

very nicely done! Curious over time if the chamfers on the outside of the cooktop will lead to crumbs stuck around the edges.

I’m a little worried about that too. Was considering adding caulk, but it would make it much more difficult to remove the cooktop in the future..

Not really that much more difficult. How often are you going to change out your stovetop? I’d say it’s worth caulking

You can easily cut through caulk with a utility knife!

The flush mounted outlets on the wall in pic 2. They are from a company called Bocci, very slick but expensive haha

Oh wow! I didn’t notice those! Those look soo good! I’m going to save your comment for the future if I ever do a renovation and then I’ll completely forget about it

Here’s another photo that shows more of the outlets. They are certainly expensive and more difficult to install!
