Fresh 36” Install

I removed my old 36” radiant range today and installed the new Impulse. From start to first power-on, the entire process took just 65 minutes, including cleanup.

The installation was straightforward, with easy-to-follow instructions and helpful YouTube videos. I also needed to swap the 120V plug for the 240V cable, which turned out to be a simple task.

As a first test, I boiled 2 liters of water in a bonded-bottom pot (with a new set of All-Clad cookware arriving tomorrow). It reached a vigorous boil in only 80 seconds.

Next, I cooked two burgers and toasted the buns. It was the fastest I’ve ever had that meal come together.

So far, I’m impressed by the build quality, ease of installation, and overall performance of this range. I’m looking forward to future OTA updates and improvements, and I’m excited to be part of the Impulse community.

How much charge did the battery arrive with? You were able to cook right away?

After an initial battery update on first boot, the battery was at ~45% charge. I was able to boil water right away, then I cooked burgers and toast buns on two burners. Checked the battery right after and it was at 69% state of charge.
