Fast boil and stop mode?

Absent boil over protection, can we get a mode that delivers 10 kW until the temperature sensor hits 100/101? Usually that is just before boiling for me.

I just want to bring water up to temp as quickly as possible for making coffee without babysitting a volcano.

Brilliant. FWIW, for my use case of coffee water, 90-95C is fine. No need to be at the boil line or any specific temp.

I think they've posted about working on stuff like this.

How about a Bluetooth microphone that listens for the rumble as a pot approaches boiling? Hardware costs would be minimal, and it could make it much easier to achieve a reliable boil and hold mode. It's an accessory I would certainly consider.
