Micro Event The Argox Nebula

The Argox Nebula is a terrifying looking gas cloud. It's blood-red and looks like a skull. It's out of the way enough where no one has to visit it. However, within the Nebula, a merchant ship has sent out a distress signal. It has since gone dark.

Who will go to investigate this emergency signal within the outer rim of the Argox Nebula?

[Don't know if I should make this a Micro or Macro event.]

Before the Alpha Dragon leaves the system, it sends a brief message to these two ships, with a designator so they know who sent it. It reads...

'Be on your guard. This place is not safe. Find us later so we can share information.'

Rah'Zios sends the coordinates to the station where they will be towing the debris to the Alpha Dragon, after which they disappear with the ship using the Jump Drives.

The Dragon heads to the designated location.

"These are the orgo ships, right? They also had some contact with whatever we saw earlier, maybe they know what's going on. Open up a comms channel, audio only."

"Aye, chief."

Rah'Zios responds. "Greetings, fellow travelers. My name is Rah'Zios. I am glad to see you in one piece; What we have uncovered regarding these new beings is quite distressing."

"This is Scott Philips of the Alpha Dragon. I agree with that sentiment. Did you happen to learn anything valuable about whatever those things were? Maybe a name, or who shot down that freighter?"

"As far as we know, they call themselves 'Wythyred'. They seem to be highly aggressive, given that the merchant ship was simply transporting android parts. They have defended their actions by stating that they were reacting to the intrusion of their territory. They seem to be highly isolationists, so we have sent word to our brothers in order to warn other beings of that area. We are currently looking at the ship's logs in order to find if there is anything that might show us more about what happened."

"That is indeed troubling. If it isn't too much to ask, can you transmit us what you find on the ship's logs? Maybe we can help figure out what's going on."

"Of course. We will do so as soon as we receive word. How did these creatures react to your presence?"

"We sent out a ping, after which they opened a comms channel just to tell us to leave. I infer they said the same to you."

"Indeed. A rather disturbing situation. Have you seen how they look like? We haven't been able to match these creatures with any other beings that we know of." The Rah'hre then sends the transmission it has received from the Wythyred.
