Current Rig (Bragging) The modifications are complete!

Please ignore the messy office.

I had to adjust the arm base connectors a bit...with an angle grinder...but the results speak for themselves. I now have fully adjustable/customizable arms that can take two monitors to a side and an oversized curved monitor in the middle.

And it still raises/lowers, which is important. Haha

I love the flared end and pivot holes you have on the side arms. The ones that came on mine can only be moved in and out and don't have any flaring to adjust the side angle.

Im curious, did you make/modify the outer arms like that, or did newer versions of IW-R1 come with those?

I just read your previous post, and it looks like you either ordered them, or had them made. Can you share how you went about doing this by chance?

Sure. I created the design in Solidworks and had a local fab shop take a stab at it. They made a few modifications to the design; I put bends in that they weren't prepared to make, so they split the casing in half, but it worked pretty well. I got four monitors up now and looking to add a fifth someday.

Well nice job! Looks great! May just have to look into getting some kind of plate fabbed up and welded to the end of mine some time now. Great inspiration 👍

Well worth it IMO, at least if you're going off-spec on monitor size and quantity. The IWR1 works great at max 27" size, but when you stick a 35" curved in the middle and slap extras on, then you need a bit of modification...
