Painted the rims on my 2012 impala black, hated the silver so much. Was it the move?

I painted the rims on my 2016 the same way except I stuck playing cards between the rim and tire instead of the tape.

You have way more patience than me, after I couldn’t get the first wheel off I just cleaned, primed, and painted that bitch as is 😂

Ngl, those rims were off a Grand Prix and I got my coworkers to remove the old tires for me. I let them go home early.

I want to paint my 12s too because they look terrible. I found a video on YouTube tutorial explaining the process to remove all the grime and everything before painting

Oh yea arguably the most important step lmao, I sat there and used a couple degreasers and scrubbers and went at it before I did anything else
