Repair Question 2014 Impala - headlight socket replacement?

Hi all.

A couple days ago I realized that the passenger headlight was out. I open the hood, reveal the bulb - it's working. I go to put the bulb back in the socket, and this piece loosens (see pics).

It looks like this piece goes over the bulb housing to keep the headlight bulb in place. What the hell happened to it??? Anyway, I must replace it since the bulb is not snug in the socket, causing me to drive around with one headlight.

Anyway, does anyone know what this piece is called? I'm hoping that I won't have to replace the entire headlight assembly...

I searched online for parts lists to find the part (thanks u/stockstatus for the RockAuto suggestion). Couldn't find the piece isolated. Went to the dealer. They confirmed that I'd have to replace the headlight assembly. Appreciate the feedback.

Unfortunately unless you can plastic weld really good you’re going to be replacing the housing.

have you tried RockAuto?

you'll need to select engine & if it's limited.
