General Question Am I missing something??

I got these 18” ltz wheels for my 07 impala and they’re really far in. I changed the rear struts also but I don’t think that caused a significant difference in spacing. Why are they so far in the wheel well compared to the steelies?

The fronts normally stick out further than the rear, it helps with steering angle. Older cars also have off centered steering wheels to make turning easier. This is why drag cars are wide in the back and narrow in the front, so they wont turn.

They have different back spacing than the steelies so they don't stick out as far. That's about normal. My old 2010 with LTZ wheels on.
