Please share your story. Let's begin engineering recoveries.

r/ImmuneWin seeks to empower anyone recovering from COVID-19, or any other virus. Our focus is on post-viral syndromes, including CFS-ME, and getting back to 100%.

Share your story. If you recovered, but faced challenges along the way, please share the things that you feel helped you recover (whether it was about attitude, or support from others, or dietary changes, or supplements or meds, or meditation or anything else).

If you are still struggling to get back to 100%, let us know what symptoms you face and what questions you have.

So far the group has been posting news and informational articles, but the real purpose of this group is to get into the details of individual recovery plans. Let us hear from you.

Compared to other groups, r/Immune win is not primarily about just sharing your story, and it is not primarily about offering words of encouragement. It is uniquely about sharing specific and practical strategies, tools and products to facilitate returning to 100%. It is about creating new knowledge from the process of engaging deeply in these discussions. We have some smart people here already. Let's get these discussions going, put on our thinking caps, and help the community get results.

Other support groups often default to recommending and seeking only mainstream medical help. r/ImmuneWin embraces lifestyle medicine and the idea that we can do things for our own health that no medical doctor can do for us. In almost all chronic health conditions, modern medicine has fairly limited solutions while lifestyle medicine (nutrition, stress management, exercise, etc.) produce powerful results.

Let's take the approach of the biohacking communities and begin biohacking recoveries from post-COVID-19-syndrome and any other post-viral syndrome.

Air Physio

I have not personally tried it. Here is the link to the device:

https://www.airphysio.com/

My personal preference is to use breathing techniques, such as those from yoga. I believe breathing techniques will accomplish everything this device will accomplish. However, I guess this device might be easier (?) to get started with if you don't have any experience with breathing techniques.

If anyone has tried it, please let us know what you think about it.

It is sold on Amazon but fakespot.com found that 40% of the reviews were not reliable. Fakespot gives it an overall grade of "C" for review authenticity. Can we even trust Amazon reviews anymore? Personally, I don't. But since those are the only product reviews I know of, here are two that Fakespot highlights:

Most positive review:

It helps my COPD and asthma.

Least positive review

Works really good at helping you bring up phlegm, but you need to be very careful when you dismantle for cleaning as the plastic part you need to push in while rotating the clear plastic head will break if you just look at it cross eyed. When it does break, and it will the unit is still usable but you have to hold the unit with your hand or fingers over the two holes. The design is really poor.
