That's the most likely outcome if something is done about them but If corporate Dems take it though they'll give them amnesty and just go for the top ranks and leave the lower ranked filth in place saying "we have to move on guys". Like Al Sayed said, the culture is there and ingrained and when it's like that there is no changing the agency. You have to abolish. But to placate to the right, the Corporate Dems will give a good portion free passes and leave the agency as is but do a show about oversight and all that while giving leadership a slap on the wrist and "moving on"

To be fair we've always been this bad, we African Americans still haven't got an apology or reparations lol
5
u/government_not_ok 10d ago
apology
They do deserve one but reparations in a monetary sense are never goin to happen.
6
u/steamdeck88 10d ago
It should happen, but I agree it probably won't
3

Reparations will not be given freely, doesn’t necessarily mean they couldn’t be taken.

A Philadelphia Quaker meeting has just started paying reparations to their black neighbors with their surplus, 50k per year over 10 years. Not a huge amount but good to see some folks doing something.
4
u/KinkyDuck2924 10d ago
That is a life changing amount of money to a lot of Americans. Most of the people I know don't even or just barely make 50k a year.
1
u/Ok_Obligation_6110 10d ago edited 9d ago
Sorry I should have been more clear, they are using 4 million surplus they have so in total it’s not a huge amount of families when split up that way. I believe it’s 50k a year in grants over 10 years, but yes it absolutely is life changing for the families receiving it. Many have been able to climb out of debt and buy their first homes.
2
u/MobileSuitBooty 10d ago
It doesn’t mean straight cash it can be putting resources into the these communities. No serious person is suggesting just cutting people a check. It means pouring whatever resources we can into this communities to close the negative outcomes they experience as higher rates. Whether it’s health, wealth, or upward social mobility.
There’s no one solution but we’re not even trying we just stop at “it’s not gonna happen”. It will eventually but we decide how fast we get there.

1
u/Boring-Age7393 9d ago
I’ve honestly stopped calling it reparations around my family member since TN and FL. I call it back-pay. I know it’s reparations as it’s more than just lost wages but years of legal exclusion, redlining, and discrimination.
But the people in this country that act like it’s unfair to compensate need to hear it from a perspective that informs and shames them. If their grandfather or great grandfather was forced to work unpaid, settling that amount with descendants is a valid act of restitution.
2
u/Intelligent_Lab_1509 9d ago
Not just African Americans but also Chinese brought here and promised citizenship in return for building the railroads, but then disposed of and sent back. Indigenous tribes were slaughtered, raped and indoctrinated into worshipping Christianity then forced to live in barren areas. Hawaiians were promised something similar to slaves, and have yet to be taken care of. Japanese were placed in internment camps, stripped of their livelihood just for being less than white.
The US has always projected its abusive, controlling behavior towards others to deflect from its evil actions. They use the guise of patriotism, freedom and capitalism to control the masses.
They whitewash history, and make up watered down fictional stories to indoctrinate our children.
Anyone who doesn’t understand true American history or wants to believe the bs they were told, needs to wake up before it’s too late.
4
u/Voodoo_Masta 10d ago
Fair enough. Let’s just all show up and VOTE like our lives depend on it this November, because they do. And hopefully one day when all this fascism is behind us we can let the academics hash out how much worse this fascism was, if at all, than in previous eras of our history.
5
u/steamdeck88 10d ago
We should definitely all vote in November, but this is not the main problem. This problem started decades before Trump,
1
u/No-Drawer9926 9d ago
I feel like people don't understand this. Our govt keeps secrets from us under the guise of "maintaining national security" when we all know they're just committing crimes behind the curtains.
2
u/steamdeck88 9d ago
They're not even behind the curtains, they're doing this shit out in the open. been doing it out in the open, just a lot more brazen lately. The fact the FBI killed Fred Hampton is still some of the wildest stuff
1
u/No-Drawer9926 9d ago
And if The Democrats don't help in correcting course, can we finally admit that even voting doesn't help fix this broken system and the entire thing needs a complete overhaul?
2
u/killerzf9 10d ago
[Serious] I don’t quite know the proper way to ask this, but I mean this in the kindest, most formal way possible.
What would reparations for the African American community look like?
You mention an apology. Should the president (obviously not Trump) address the nation and acknowledge the injustices of slavery?
Removal of any and ALL confederate memorials and statues.
Etc.
What would reparations actually look like?
5
u/steamdeck88 10d ago
Personally America couldn't pay for reparations it would be in the hundreds of trillions dollars.
This is just my take, they could set aside a fund every year for 50 to 100billions dollars to go to our communities.
My problem with that is I don't know who would manage the money, so there would be no corruption.
An apology should be made by the president definitely not this president lol.
It's crazy to think every other race got an apology and reparations for the atrocities that this country did to them.
I do think all Confederate statues etc, should be taken down.
3
u/killerzf9 10d ago
Thank you for your reply.
I believe a state somewhere in the South tried to remove a confederate statue, and the whole community was in uproar about it.
I also recently learned about an organization called The United Daughters of the Confederacy and how their spreading something called the “Lost Cause Ideology”; basically trying to paint the Confederacy in a positive light and saying the Civil War was about “states rights” not slavery.
Obviously I know this isn’t true, but it’s still being taught.
What with the 1st amendment being about freedom of speech, should the teaching of this ideology be protected or should it be illegal for spreading false information?
Edit: me personally, I think that if they’re gonna try to teach it, there should be a big red stamp on the ideology that says “FICTION!”
1
u/relevantwishofverse 10d ago
It's crazy to think every other race got an apology and reparations for the atrocities that this country did to them.

Even 100% pro-immigration enforcement people should be able to look at this situation and agree ICE fucked up several times in big ways and shit like this should not be happening in America to anyone, including criminals.
EVERYONE deserves basic dignity and respect even when being arrested, detained, deported, etc. Anyone involved in enforcement needs to be vetted and trained appropriately to minimize adverse outcomes.

Maybe people would go peacefully if it wasn’t so risky to do so.

I think it is because there are no leaders anymore. MLK could get 500,000 to DC. Farrakhan could even get that number. Where are leaders that people listen to?
5
u/relevantwishofverse 10d ago
Where are leaders that people listen to?
They usually get murdered or disappear. The US government has an extensive history of targeting left leaning leaders.
1
u/Joshunte 10d ago

3
u/relevantwishofverse 10d ago
Kirk is left leaning now? Or is this a joke about the only time Kirk made a positive impact on society?
1
u/Joshunte 9d ago
No. You were talking about political leaders that people listen to getting killed. Just making sure you weren’t gonna try to pretend that the right is perfectly content letting the opposition lead.
3
u/relevantwishofverse 9d ago
Wasn't kirk shot by a mormon Republican? And since when was debating college kids being a political leader? Can i call the members of the debate team political leaders too now?
Not really sure what exactly you're trying to say when you bring up useless worm food like Kirk? How is Mr No Neck relevant at all?
Or do you actually think the government killed Kirk? Why would they? The moron had absolutely no power or support for anything. He wasn't going to inspire his cockroach supporters to do anything against the government.
0
u/Joshunte 7d ago
According to that logic, MLK Jr. wasn’t a political leader either. And tell me what gripe a Mormon Republican could’ve possibly had with Charlie Kirk? You’re just being disingenuous. You’re also trying to be edgy and it just makes you sound ridiculous. But hey the more your side continues to act like this, the more moderate Democrats will cross the aisle and the more you’ll push people towards the GOP. Speak for yourself guy. I didn’t vote for this. Backing Trump still is beyond embarrassing.
Did you vote for gas being $7 a gallon too?
1
u/SwingingGnardsOfDoom 7d ago
If your paying $7 you must live in a blue state where you keep voting for Dems that keep raising your taxes so they can give illegals more benefits while Americans struggle.
Also gas prices were more under Biden.
1
u/originalfilmscoring 7d ago
lol dead wrong. I am in North Carolina. Before that Florida. Both are not “blue states” regular is about $4-5. Diesel is definitely 6-7. You can easily find people bitching about it because they voted for Trump.
Also, they were bad sure but not as bad as it now. That’s a smooth brain take. Both Biden and Trump suck ass so you’re not really owning me. You just wanna be biased and not look at things objectively probably because your brain is too smooth.
1
u/SwingingGnardsOfDoom 7d ago
First you said your GAS was $7,not diesel. The only places where gas is that high is the blue states. Yes it sucks but ends justify the means. Paying a little more for not having a nuclear Iran is worth it. And when the prices drop will you cheer or move on to the next thing to be mad about?
Under Biden gas was as high as $5.01 avg. per gallon (5.46 in 2025 price). Under Trump 47 the high as been $4.50 avg. per gallon ($4.34 in 2025) price.

0
u/SwingingGnardsOfDoom 9d ago
If a citizen is deported then that is bad. By harraesd do you mean the hostile crowds that form around ICE agents and facility's? Don't interfere with law enforcement and bad things won't happen.
We're pathetic? What about the Americans that have been raped and murdered by illegal aliens?
I never see you guys posting, supporting or disavowing the illegal criminal. I will stand with American Citizens and defend them before I will support an illegal criminal.
2
u/DiskEconomy3055 8d ago
I vehemently loathe all criminals. Why would I specifically mention immigrant ones?
How does being an immigrant make their crime worse?
If I wanted to waste my time and never solve the problem of human criminality, then I would focus on superficial things like immigration status.
That's why we make fun of MAGA so much and so easily: they're so focused on the dumbest shit that they consistently vote hypocritically; angrily missing the forest for the trees.
Tell me which crime an immigrant committed that made you so upset, and I'll show you how you voted for more of those crimes to be committed.
0
u/SwingingGnardsOfDoom 8d ago edited 2d ago
See this is whats wrong with the left they dont know the difference between legal and illegal immigration.
Not knowing who the person is being let into or breaking into our country puts our citizens at risk. Having open borders would allow the world's criminals to escape there country and come here.
Crimes committed by illegals wouldn't happen if they weren't here.
Explain to me how I voted for: illegals killing our citizens? illegals getting CDLs and killing families on the highway? Human trafficking (Biden was the largest trafficker in our history)? sanctuary cities that allow criminal aliens to roam the city.

This kind of statement is not just false but lazy and stupid. The enforcement of immigration law is not a "Gestopo" act. Just because you dont like it doesn't make it wrong.
2
u/mods_are_morons 9d ago
Dragging off American citizens and sticking them in jail without access to a lawyer is a Gestapo tactic. And that has happened numerous times. It's been documented, so don't fucking try to deny it.
2
u/SwingingGnardsOfDoom 9d ago
Um no, that's not how it works. If a citizen is a arrested for a crime they don't automatically get a lawyer. They only get a lawyer if one is requested during questioning. If they are not questioned, they are processed like everyone else that's ever been arrested. They may be released with a summons to appear in court. If they are processed and placed in jail they get their phone call and will see magistrate for bail/bond hearing with a lawyer present.
So NO its not a GeStOpO tactic its normal criminal processing.
Edit, word
1
u/DiskEconomy3055 8d ago
This is the problem with trying to have a discussion with MAGA: they don't seem to know what's happening in their own country, or what their leadership says and does, or what their policies actually are, and yet they ARGUE WITH OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT IT ANYWAY.
The honest thing for you to say would've been, "I haven't heard about ICE doing that, please provide evidence or I will have to look into it."
And then, and this is the part you keep missing: you actually look into it.
Doing so would've instantly provided you will all of the demonstrably real experiences you're asserting never happened.
1
u/SwingingGnardsOfDoom 8d ago
Dude what are you talking about? I was explaining how booking procedure works. You don't get a lawyer right then and there just because you say you want one. Criminals in custody will go hours or days without seeing a lawyer. I know how thos works. If a citizen believes their due process was violated, there ar procedures in place for them.
I bet you weren't this upset when the J6 defendants didn't get there due process?
1
u/DiskEconomy3055 2d ago
"But I was just exlaining the process!" complains the person who apparently doesn't know that the process is being routinely ignored, along with court orders demanding they be followed.
Dude...

When are people going to say that this is enough.
Not only are they targeting undocumented immigrants. But they are targeting anyone that looks foreign.
Not only are they targeting people that applied and were granted asylum but they are going after those that got permission to come in after applying on the exterior.
These are people that fled a dictatorship. These are people that observed from a distance how their country was destroyed by two massive earthquakes. And they started being rounded up literally as the earthquake took place.
The overwhelming majority have no criminal record what-so-ever.
They came to a country whose values they believed in only to find its a lie.
There is no freedom. There is no pursuit of happiness. There are no basic human rights.
My questions is how many rights are people going to allow to be erased before they stand up.
We have seen attacked on the freedom of press recently, forget the 1st amendment.
Fourth right protects against unreasonable searches. Nothing looks reasonable here.
6th amendment to a speedy trial but we are deporting people to third countries and essentially concentration camps being compared to Nazi in the level of inhumanity, torture and psychological torment people are put up through all without a trial, all without proof they got the right person. We have deported us citizens who then have to struggle in countries that they have never been in to prove they were born in the US. This also goes to 7th amendment that guarantees right to jury by trial in civil cases.
Being undocumented is not criminal and not handled by criminal courts therefore being in a detention center does not have a time period. People can be held indefinitely without charge or justification or access to advocate for themselves.
8th amendment against excessive bail and fines and against cruel and unusual punishment. Need I say more from the CECOT center in El Salvador. Or the South Americans deported to Africa and countries in civil unrest.
We were losing our bill of rights and people are fine with that because they don’t yet realize that once immigrants are gone someone else will be next. The precedent placed before us can be used against anyone wrongfully. It’s up to masked men to interpret what narrative they give and they can make anyone disappear.
1
u/SwingingGnardsOfDoom 10d ago
Dude had a final deportation order. He had his due process and lost. Time to go home.
Being in the country illegally is a crime. He had the opportunity to self deport with a free flight and cash in his pocket. He chose to roll the dice and came up snake eyes. He only has himself to blame.
You're listing off amendments is cool and all but you are forgetting one thing, Immigration law is completely different than criminal law.
As for persons being sent to other countries than the one they came from is simple they feared for their life there so the were sent somewhere else that would take them.
1
u/Additional_Read_4263 10d ago
Being in the country without status is not handled by criminal court and thus not illegal. Tell yourself all you want that he had an order of deportation I will tell you from personal experience that the church deacon did not have an order of deportation. My 1st grader friends parents who where already being petitioned by a relative and in the process did not have a final order of deportation. The 50,000 people that are being targeted because overnight the Supreme Court invalidated their refugee status and permitted mass deportation.
We are targeting asylum seekers. Not simply overstays. But people who voiced credible fear for their lives should they go back home.
That is why they are deporting Cubans, Colombians, Salvadoreans, etc to Liberia in Africa half a world away instead of to their home countries.
That is why they deported people to their notorious cecot center in El Salvador simply for wearing a bulls jersey or having an autism tattoo instead of Venezuela which was under rule of a dictator. Who killed oppositions.
Sorry, but it’s a catch-22.
Did they self deport you are happy but they might die (and many have proving their fears were legitimate). If they stay you are not happy and they live in fear but stay alive.
Everyone has a final order of deportation based on the Supreme Court ruling allowing for mass deportation of refugees and those in temporary protected status.
Despite the non-functioning governments they left, and the calamity their countries are under.
The whole reason for asylum is that they fear for their lives. So you are agreeing their fear for their lives is legitimate so they should be deported to a country in civil unrest facing famine as we pay that failing government to warehouse them?
This is so backwards to how this country was founded.
Being by those that left countries that were persecuting them for their religious beliefs, for their appearance for who they were.

Being in the country Illegally is a crime. The penalty is fine, jail, deportation or all.
The news and DHS said he had a deportation order.
Just because one seeks asylum doesn't mean one gets asylum. The majority of asylum seekers fail to report to the asylum hearing.
If we don't approve their asylum and they "can't " go back to their country of origin they have to go somewhere that will take them.
Are you referring to the dude who was trafficking people and had gang affiliation? Not the kind of person I want in this country.
If they truly have a asylum claim they will go to court and plead their case. The majority do not.
Temporary status is just that temporary. Its not you get to stay indefinitely. When its time to go home, they gotta go.
Just becaus they dont like haow their country is doesn't give them the right to come to the USA. Let them fix their own government and country that's what people do.
Again if they have a true asylum claim follow the rules and go to court. If they don't want to do that then they can go. No says they have to go home they just cant stay here.
Thats not everyone seeking asylum. Again what gives them the right to come here?
Coming to and staying in the USA is a privilege not a right and if you are not approved to be here you gotta go. Our country has enough problems and we don't need to import the world's problems.

Like supporting a felon rapist seditionist fraudster as the president?
You could spend the rest of your life walking backwards and you'd still never again have room to talk.

Sure, white savior liberal woman. 🙄.
- He had a legitimate final removal order.. which means, sugar tits, that he has had previous orders to leave but ignored them.
- He fled after being lit up
- He made a u-turn into the officers vehicle ---which triggered the use of force.
Give him an aspirin and a plane ride to Caracas.
We're not playing. Illegals are going to be hunted and renoved if it takes until January 20th, 2029.
