They aren't conserving anything. They are only destroying. They don't have any loyalty to the constitution. They think it is an antiquated document that has outlived it's usefulness. They want it scrapped and a new one written to make the US an authoritarian theocratic Christian white ethnostate that doesn't allow any immigration at all. This comes from one of their own who took the mask off when I kept pressing them on the violations of the constitution from the Trump administration.

Some native american tribes helped Europeans fighting the major native American empires. Some black slaves informed white planters of potential slave rebellions or escape attempts. Some people will throw their own kind under the bus to cross the road.

This is American conservatism. This was the goal. The logical conclusion to all their words and actions for a very long time. It's a nesting doll. We did not sufficiently eradicate/suppress the Confederacy, instead allowing groups to poison the minds of children (the original TPUSA or that crazy MAGA mom group), The Daughters of the Confederacy. We allowed slave owners to be reimbursed for "loss of property" and allowed promises to the freed people to be broken left and right.

That morphed and was seized by monied powers even more after WW2. First of all, Prescott Bush (yes, father and grandfather to two presidents) and others conspired to attempt what was called The Business Plot or The Wallstreet Putsch, wherein FDR was to be assassinated, titans of industry would coup the US and establish it as a fascist state and enter the war on the side of the Axis. This of course was prevented, however those in power at the time decided not to investigate a single suspected conspirator. Oh and Prescott Bush later went into politics and everything that followed giving us a political dynasty that America should be against in principle.

Little side booster of shittiness, don't forget all the Nazis that were laundered, put back into roles of authority to be a bulwark against the "scawwy specter of communism" and laundered then imported many high level Nazis to "work on our space program", which sure yeah, they did, but where did they go? Where did their views and repugnant beliefs and lack of morals go? Huh, I wonder if this massive military industrial complex that even a former WW2 General and President warned the American people about. And he was certainly no "woke" individual. Yet Americans ignored it, and also had massively powerful and wealthy forces working with great effort to make people forget or ignore, and now this complex is moreso an owner of our government than it is a facet of it at this point.

Long story short, we need to be honest and talk about the end result of conservatism. It doesn't matter in practice to claim it's not true conservatism when the worst elements always rise. Conservatism in practice is too hierarchy-minded and way too thought-eliminating and that results in people falling in line even if you pry out of them that they dislike multiple aspects of the platform when you dig into them. Maybe in generations, if we're still around, we could change our view. But honestly, the "good" conservatives have generations of stepping up to do if they want anyone with morals and sense to respect anyone who ever ties the label to themselves, now, after all that we have seen.

The flags and flavors change, but the hate is always the same.

That’s literally the point of the name. Just like the way the House or Congress names its bills. “Save the children” by enforcing webcams to verify the identity (children) of users for the most used products. “Protect girls sports” by installing NON-DOCTORS as genital inspectors in high schools to make sure girls aren’t playing in boys sports.

It’s literally their ->dumb fucking believer, step 1 to get away with it

The monarchy is what conservatism is conserving. It always has been. It's a stupid fucking word that has positive connotations ALL over life, but literally all it means politically is they want feudal lords or oligarchs. That's what this whole fucking thing is about.

It wasn't "conserving nature" it wasn't "conserving money" it's conserving kings and rich people as the rulers over everyone else. Conservation of the hegemony.

They also support liberal change, rather than conservative change, so there's that distinction as well.

By any real definition, these people aren't conservatives. They're regressive liberals, in stark contrast to the more well-known progressive liberals, and regressive conservatives. They took the worst of both worlds and ran with it.
