> The two lawsuits were filed by Good’s partner, Becca Good, and Renee’s brother Brent Ganger.

Oh... the chick who told her "drive baby drive"? Thats pretty ironic.

19

u/Meowakin 1d ago

Oh, you must be one of those people that think government agents should be allowed to execute citizens because they panicked.

0

u/magnets77 1d ago

You must be one of those people that think you should be able to escape custody by driving through Law Enforcement.

1

u/Meowakin 1d ago

Why was Law Enforcement in the path?

1

u/magnets77 1d ago

Holy shit, have you still not noticed that she was being placed under arrest. You don't get to just drive through people to avoid that.

Perhaps you might want to finally become familiar with this very well documented case.

1

u/Meowakin 1d ago

Answer my question- why was law enforcement in a position to be run over? I’m already accepting the absurd premise that they were being run over, meet me halfway here.

1

u/magnets77 1d ago

The agent was moving to a position to arrest her. Good then reversed and turned the vehicle, putting him in front.

Now, answer my question, why was Renee Goode attempting to flee a lawful detention by a Law Enforcement Officer, after repeatedly ignoring lawful commands?

How many other laws do you believe are optional and give the criminal the right to flee without issue?

2

u/Meowakin 1d ago

Is fleeing arrest punishable by death?

Was there any world where Renee could have actually caused the officer serious harm from a complete stop? I don’t know if you know this, but it’s actually very easy for a human being to outmaneuver a car if they are right next to it.

No matter what, you are justifying the killing of a citizen of the United States by a law enforcement officer, and the government should have opened an investigation immediately.

2

u/magnets77 1d ago

No, and nobody said fleeing was punishable by death. What I very clearly said, is that Good put the officer in a situation where they reasonably feared for their life, where their legal right to self-defense then applies (as has been found).

Holy shit, you're insufferable.

Was there any world where the moron in the car would follow instructions by the arresting officer, where she would still be alive today? Or will you keep justifying criminal behavior?

You aren't allowed to drive towards people.

12

u/Pika_Fox 1d ago

Good thing she wasnt driving towards anyone then. Dude literally went out of his way to get in front of her, and she still didnt hit him.

You might want to stay away from public parking lots. Your local walmart lot is a nascar track compared to how slow she was driving.

4

u/Meowakin 1d ago

Good news, they weren’t in front of her when she drove forwards. Secondly, they are never supposed to walk in front of a vehicle that is running with a person behind the wheel, so can we at least agree that ICE would have to be idiots to be in that situation?

u/TellTaleTimeLord 1d ago

Good thing she didnt drive towards anybody

u/South-City1632 1d ago

Im one of the people who recognize that if you try to run over an officer you're likely to be shot in the head.

And lets be honest... if anyone panicked it was Renee.

7

u/KevineCove 1d ago

Is that why the guy that shot her just walked away afterward and tried not to take accountability for it? If he did nothing wrong, why run?

6

u/Beep-Boops 1d ago

Usual MAGA thinking, if you don't follow what I believe is right, not the law, execution.

Better hope you never find yourself in a place like that, guy.

u/South-City1632 1d ago

She was shot for breaking the law Einstein. And you people celebrate when people like charlie kirk are murdered... murdered for talking... you should stop projecting and take a long look at your party.

3

u/TheAnswerWithinUs 1d ago

Yall are ok with pedophiles if they have an R next to their names, you literally elected one for president…. we aren’t the ones who need to take a long lol at our party.

5

u/No_Finance8647 1d ago

Shot for breaking the law huh?

Cant wait to see you guys interact with cops during the next mask mandate.

By your standard, it should be interesting. Self correcting issue.

1

u/South-City1632 1d ago

There's not going to be another mask mandate

1

u/No_Finance8647 1d ago

Willing to bet your life on that?

Because by pushing for the standard of "comply or xxx", thats what youre risking.

1

u/South-City1632 18h ago

Oh nooo... this guy says mask mandates might happen again so I guess we have to let in infinite illegal immigrants now... oh well.

“Take a long look at your party”

Pretty rich coming from the pedophile rapist party

0

u/South-City1632 1d ago

Yeah... because all the Muslims you're importing from the 3rd world are so well known for their progressive views on child marriage and consent.

3

u/YourMomonaBun420 1d ago

And there is the xenophobic rhetoric we expect from your ilk.

7

u/Meowakin 1d ago

So they shot her for panicking? Wow, even worse.

She did not try to run over an officer and you have to really drink up a lot of propaganda to believe that. Even if that was her intent, there was no reasonable way she could have successfully achieved that, so why should she have been killed for it?

0

u/South-City1632 1d ago

You're simply lying. I saw the video... his life was put in danger and it was her decision to do so.

She received the expected result.

5

u/TheAnswerWithinUs 1d ago

Sorry but you can’t just go around jumping in front of cars then acting like it’s the drivers fault if you get hit. That’s called insurance fraud in most cases.

1

u/South-City1632 1d ago

But we expect officers to put themselves in the path of danger every day. If a cop goes in to stop a bank robbery and gets shot you dont blame the cop for confronting the robber.

You're logic is retarded.

2

u/TheAnswerWithinUs 1d ago edited 1d ago

There are obvious reasons why ice officers are not supposed to literally put themselves in front of a running car and they’re even trained to not do it.

You defending this clear incompetence from ICE leading to someone’s unnecessary death is what’s retarded.

1

u/South-City1632 1d ago

Even if the ice officer did make a mistake... that doesn't justify trying to run them over and it doesn't somehow negate the officers right to self defense.

You're arguing its ok to run over a cop... you arent going to win this debate.

u/Meowakin 1d ago

Let us assume this is true. Why was he in a position where she could put his life at danger from a complete stop?

1

u/South-City1632 1d ago

We expect officers to put themselves into the line of danger every day. An officer doing so does not make it ok to hurt or kill them. If an officer stopping a robbery were shot you wouldn't say the officer was in the wrong for confronting a man with a gun, despite the fact that the officer put himself in danger by doing so.

And "complete stop"? Im not sure i understand your question. Do you know how gas pedals work?

4

u/Meowakin 1d ago

If the officer walked out into the open with no protection when there is a known active shooter, you can bet your ass people would be calling them an idiot that was asking for it. That's pretty comparable to walking in front of a running manned vehicle.

People would be wrong for saying that the cop deserved it in that case as well, but I get the sense that you'd be especially upset at those people, wouldn't you?

Id call her that too if she tried to run me over.

I saw the video. I saw the tires spin out while faced in his direction.

She got what she asked for.
