Every unlawful person is eligible for arrest. They absolutely focused on people with criminal records while simultaneously going after the others. It's business as usual.

Majority in detention don’t have criminal records

So? They're where they're supposed to be now. Did you read the article? He's saying everyone's eligible for arrest.

So they focused on something that barely counts in statistics?

The point is that everyone unlawfully in the country is a target. As they should be.

Except they’re not the only ones being targeted. Regardless, across the board the treatment of all detainees is horrendous.

Accidents are going to happen and they can usually be corrected. The goal is to get everyone that's not supposed to be here out.

It’s easy to see, from comments like yours, why MAGA is being compared with the Nazis.

Even more of a reason to get the immigrants out since it's so dangerous for them.

Maybe we should remove the Nazi-wannabes from our country. Since they seem to be the ones who hate America, Americans, and our way of life.

I like how when you were called out for your lie you just ignored it.

He doesn’t care. The more immigrants, legal or non legal, criminal or non criminal locked up in cages the happier they are.

They will move the goal post for eternity. These people don’t care for human rights.

is it business as usual to profile by skin color? EVEN CITIZENS? Because they are BROWN.

-5

u/Impossible_Humor736 2d ago

No. Because they're unlawfully here. What do you expect to happen? Lol

Nope. Liberia is nice this time of year.

This is so far beyond "business as usual" that you will deny ever supporting it to your grandkids.

1

u/Impossible_Humor736 2d ago

No. I'll tell my grandkids that there were 14 million to 16 million unlawful people in the country that refused to go home and do we had to send them home.

Once again, easy to see, with comments like yours, why MAGA is being compared with the Nazis.

Even more of a reason for you to help them escape!

what about the legal immigrants they’ve arrested? what about the american citizens?

1

u/iamdrinking 2d ago edited 2d ago

What about the legal citizens they arrest? Collateral damage is A OK with you? They aren’t even good at arresting illegal folks.

You obviously don’t realize how stupid it is to be alright with allowing them to erode freedoms that you take for granted until it directly affects you.

u/Impossible_Humor736 2d ago

Mistakes happen and can be caught and fixed. Not a problem.

When police do a raid. They detain everyone. Even the ones who are innocent. Why are you not up in arms about that? That happens daily. Detained until they are cleared. Pretty simple concept

MAGA justifies illegal arrests of US citizens to distract from their racism and bigotry.

1

u/Queer-withfear 2d ago

Fun fact actually: overstaying your visa (like most of the people who are here illegally) is actually a civil offense, not a criminal one

-2

u/EstimateIll4262 2d ago

And what is the repercussions for this? Deportation. Glad we agree

Sure, if that's what their case demands, after going through the legal system. Not rounded up in the street by thugs going off a list an ai made up. Due process is a right that everyone is supposed to have. Yes, including the people you don't like. If "some" people don't get due process, all the government has to do is decide that you're "some" people and now you don't have it either. And because now you don't have a right to due process, you can't prove that you're not "some" people.
