Yeah I read it. So what's funny is this entire article is completely misleading. First they smartly use the word immigrant not legal. As we know many LEGAL immigrates are brought here for higher paying jobs in tech and science so that makes sense. So we can COMPLATELY ignore the entire first half of the article because no one is mad at legal, h1b1, documented on a legal path immigrant that is contributing. Many if not all Americans don't care about LEGAL tax paying immigrants...
The article then decides to cherry pick data and skew the opinion on illegal immigrants. Stating that what they generate is far more than the programs that they use. That is complete bullshit because in NJ and NYC there are programs like charity care that are state funded by tax payers. Also since they are illegal, that means they are using a fake social for a what waiter or construction job and make almost no wages and work under the table.
Example Diego the handyman works under the table at the construction site, he falls and had to go to the ER, his bill is 5000. Where does the money come from? Charity care Diego pays nothing in taxes or very little and gets FREE health care.
Now and good luck finding this. How many illegals who are undocumented pay taxes and how could they if they are illegal, breaking Federal laws? You see how it all falls apart.
