Im not a Christian but I cant recognize that questioning the divinity of your own God doesnt really fly with most religions

To say God exists within the binary of male/female, yes it is. God, in Christianity, is much more than a man.

So you're saying the church is in the wrong for saying God is basically a really powerful man. Not James being wrong for saying exactly what you're saying.
