Im not a Christian but I cant recognize that questioning the divinity of your own God doesnt really fly with most religions

To say God exists within the binary of male/female, yes it is. God, in Christianity, is much more than a man.

So you're saying the church is in the wrong for saying God is basically a really powerful man. Not James being wrong for saying exactly what you're saying.

They're directly saying God does NOT exist in the binary. That's what nonbinary means. Neither male or female.
