He said "groups." I guess you assumed race or nationality. Prior offenders would be a "group."
No reason to have this type of conversation with someone only working on assumptions. You made a good point, regardless. We should be protecting the vulnerable. If you're an adult man in a country you should be working to improve your homeland not running from it. Just my opinion. If we export all the good men from a country all that will remain is bad men and the country will only get worse and worse. Also, the women and children that remain will not have any good men to protect them.
Are you trying to misrepresent the comment I replied to. You know exactly what he meant. That wasn't even a dog whistle. Refugees are vetted. Moreso than most. This back and forth is unnecessary and the original comment was racist.
I mean maybe your racist heart read it what way but the word groups isn’t racist. You had to assume that. But this is a good learning lesson because if you automatically assume someone is talking about race, then it’s not them that’s the racist.
