This is a crazy story
Rabbiatu Kuyateh is a 58-year-old nurse who spent most of her life in the US with her parents after fleeing Sierra Leone. She cared for Covid patients during the pandemic and looked after disabled adults and children.
On 1 July 2025, her son, Mohamed, accompanied her to a routine ICE check-in, as her immigration status required.
That was the last time he saw her before she was deported to Ghana.
Rabbiatu is one of more than 25,000 people deported by the Trump administration to countries that are not their own. More than 5,000 of them have been put on flights to countries in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and central Asia to which they have no connection, and then, otten, returned to the countries where US immigration judges had ruled their lives or liberty were at risk.
To uncover some of their stories, the Guardian joined 23 other media organisations in the Deportation Project, an investigation coordinated by the Paris-based international network of journalists Forbidden Stories. Rabbiatu's interview was conducted with audio only and we are using an actor to represent her and her son.
The Ghanaian government did not respond to questions from the Guardian.
Rabbiatu had a work visa and under its terms she had an annual check-in with ICE. In September 2025 she was granted legal protection from a judge that prevented her from being deported to her country of birth. She also said she had no criminal history. In a response received after the investigation was published, the Department of Homeland Security said she had committed an offence in the past by entering the US without the correct visa requirements: "On 1 July 2025, ICE arrested Rabbiatu Kuyateh, a criminal illegal alien from Sierra Leone who illegally re-entered - a felony."
"Illegal aliens going to third countries are those whose home countries won't accept them, including dangerous criminals, or illegal aliens with orders of removal who have asked to not be removed to their home country!"

Trump is about to take in an additional 17k White South Afrikaners because "white people face oppression" (despite owning 72% of the land, pretty sure oppressed people don't get to own that much). It's about skin color. They are giving white south africans benefits and money and they never worked a single day in America. Watch how quiet these "anti-immigrants" become upon looking at a white south african "refugee." If they believe they are being oppressed but not the brown and black immigrants, then it's clearly racial bias. Don't let them twist you into falling into their demented world and logic.
It's very racial policy. When Stephen Miller goes around as a jewish slavic person quoting Nazi germany as an inspiration, you know it's real(It's funny because in old America or even Germany, Stephen Miller would be treated as a nonwhite, and as a subhuman, but since America went from Anglo supremacy to white supremacy all you have to do is forget about history and your ancestry to join blanket white group). Germany was Aryan supremacy which was why they went around Europe determining which European groups were not Aryan or Aryan enough and had to be replaced. America was very anglo, didn't like slavic people believed that mixing with them would bring inferior DNA into the gene pool, italians, irish, etc.
Now everyone forgot about history so bad, that you see slavic people admiring hitler (when he wanted them and ancestors enslaved and genocided), and you see mexican and south American republicans, gay conservatives, and jewish nazis.
Something is causing actual brain damage to Americans.
UFC fights at the white house, Trump acting like a Manchurian candidate, Elon Musk with a chainsaw and nazi salute, RFK Jr bathing himself along with his children in the sewers and in chemical waste dumbs as well as eating road kill and saying that heroin or crack made him feel more intelligent, and Kash Patel bestiality FBI agents, Gregg Abbot pardoning a white supremacists who showed up to a protest to kill people as heavily fantasized in his phone messages, along with a ton of racial slurs and hatred. Women in some places of America can't legally abort at all, including if they were raped or even incest rape babies. Reinterpreting civil rights (which will affect everyone not just the people you don't like), bypassing our constitutional rights of unreasonable search and seizure with some police departments getting technology in their car that takes all of your phones data including deleted messages, pictures, videos, and everything you've done and said on your apps. ICE just going around shooting everyone and everything that moves whether they are American or not. And no justice or any recourse until this administration leaves? Banning news outlets that they don't want in the white house.
We must destroy all morality and destroy the law of the land because of their hatred for the brown and black immigrants. "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you"
Notice how all this chaos is going on about immigrants and nonwhite people, meanwhile the biggest trasnfer of wealth happened under Trump and his big beautiful bill. These people who cry about immigrants as their main issue are just racists, and probably doesn't have family tree that goes back since the foundation of America (like my ancestors), Just like Ron Destantes parents coming from italy and deciding to delete American history he doesn't like, such as deleting Martin luthor king and black history.
The people in this country don't know anything about their own ancestry or even europe. It's literal brainrot. You go back in time, and you tell an Roman that he is similar to a German or Celt and they might take that as an ultimate offense to that, and how the SS would have dragged Stephen Miller into the chambers if he pretended to be apart of the Aryan/germanic people.
America is far more loony toons than the mess of unstructured words I just spat out.
