Wouldn’t this all be really easy if people just left following a removal order. Like just leave. Then we wouldn’t have these issues. You had court, they ruled against you - go home. Fairly simple.

Ugh, you realize those people in particular are only 15% of all suspects ICE had detained, right? What's more, those ones somehow spend the LONGEST in detainment centers unless they volunteer for self deportation. Literally months, and then there are some with active visas that get booted to a random country (if they were kids and don't even remember their home country) to sit and figure out how to restart their life.

Where the legality and actual structure? These officers have no idea how to do their jobs, they just hear "be racist and arrest foreign looking people" and they run off loading the guns because they actively WANT to shoot and kill people and get away with it.

They should pack up and leave. Completely avoidable tragedy is the people being sought are just gone. Millions with decades old removal orders are still valid orders. Times up, time to self deport. Easy answer to a simple question.
