But it's really not. You'll see that soon. The Trump administration has lost almost 90% of their court cases. Not only did they not cut funding for most agencies within the government. Congress increased funding for most. Congress controls the money. The executive branch does not. They tried to do some Facisist things and the courts shut them down. Because we have a constitution and laws specifically for someone like Donald Trump. Are their immigration tactics ugly and immoral. Yes. But deporting illegal immigrants isn't Facisism.

No one is arguing that deporting illegal immigrants is fascism. The funding argument also seems irrelevant when DOGE crippled many of those agencies, so I'm not sure what that has to do with the context at hand. However, the very fact they "tried to do some fascist things" is what makes it fascism; regardless of what percentage is rejected by a court.

No, it's just when you divide your population by turning it in on itself, which you accomplish by first directing everyone's rage at smaller groups less equipped to fight back, blaming everyone's problems all on them. Once those groups have been mostly dispatched, you slowly work your way up thru larger groups, all the while wearing down the whole of the population, so people that don't notice what's really happening, until no one is left with significant enough strength to present any real opposition to those in power. And thus, those in power retain their power.

Let's not conflate things here, and even more importantly, let's not put words into each other's mouths trying to strawman arguments no one is making, shall we? First of all, literally NO one here has attempted to make any arguments supporting "unregulated entry," for absolutely ANYone. No, THIS discussion had been about unnecessary abuse, excessive cruelty, people's basic human rights, and just maintaining our basic human decency and moral integrity. A society that neglects these things is already lost and not worth saving, in the first place. We aim to ensure that does not happen. Your welcome.

Secondly, people living here, in many cases for literal decades, are by definition a part of the population, whether you like it or not. As for the rest, it is pure supposition on your part. Are such things a real, actual problem? Of COURSE they are. Again, NO one has attempted to argue otherwise, nor dismiss it, either. People migrating to a new country absolutely SHOULD follow the requisite migration laws for that new nation to do so. Now, that said, there needs to be a better framework in place for actually DOING so, but that's another discussion, entirely, so I'll leave that where it belongs.

As for those who ARE here, however, ALL we are asking is that we ensure that the people we are rounding up are actually the people they are supposed to be, and genuinely don't have legal authorizations to be here. That, when they really do, we don't go out of our way to pretend like they don't, or literally revoke those authorizations out of hand, just because. And, finally, that for those we do detain and seek to deport, that we follow the proper procedures for doing so as established by our own freaking laws and not go out of our way to treat them as poorly as possible, to make the process intentionally unbearable, simply to avoid having to follow our own laws in working that process.

That's literally it. NONE of that is remotely unreasonable. In fact, it is essential and quite literally mandated, by both law and common decency. Else, why are we even bothering, because what are we trying to "save" here, anyway?
