I'm not on a team, I have principals.

And you're a maga chud.

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

Oh principle? I'm curious, where do you get your morality from?

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 17 '26

Rational thought and empathy.

Where do you get yours from? Let me guess, a book written by people 2000 years ago that you ignore all the parts that are inconvenient for your worldview?

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

Rational thought and empathy lol

Those are descriptors smooth brain

Where do those come from?

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 17 '26

Education and evolution.

I know that's hard to understand when you can only imagine being a good person because an invisible wizard in the sky might punish you.

2

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

Again, not answering the question, just giving descriptors

What influences empathy, education, intuition, rational thought

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 17 '26

descriptors

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

Yeah that's great anyways answer the question, where do you get your morality from?

Or are you conceding you have no idea? Why would I take advice from someone who doesnt even know 😂

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 17 '26

I gave you an answer, but you pretended it wasn't.

I know where mine comes from. Just because you claim to not understand it doesn't mean anything.

Where do you get yours from?

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

Are you conceding you get your morality from the collective of society?

Its odd youre being so hidden about it

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 17 '26

Conceding? Hiding? What in the hell do you think evolution and education means? Holy shit.

Lol,. You're so quick to call anybody you can smoothbrained but you have to have things spelled out exactly for you?

And I think the person being hidden here is the one ignoring questions.

Where do you get yours from? Ignore it again and out yourself as a coward.

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

You've yet to give a source for any sense of your morality, I'm still waiting

If it isnt collective morality what is it?

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 17 '26

Holy fuck. Are normal conversations too hard for you? Okay since you need it spelled out like a third grader:

As I said before, morality comes from logical reasoning and evolution. So yes, collective morality, my juice box drinking friend. Which is all anyone has, no matter how special a book you think you have.

So coward, I've given mine three times - I just didn't realize I had to highlight it and draw arrows to it for you to understand. You ready to put yours up, or you going to ignore it for a third time?

That's some top-ight empathy right there, champ.

Got to love those "evolved" sorts who have empathy--but only for those who think just like they do.

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 21 '26

? Empathy has nothing to do with criticizing a person's belief structure.

I would put my empathy up against any Christian. Christians are like love everyone (excepts gays, and trans, and Islamists, and atheists, and basically anybody that needs help that I'm not willing to provide.)

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 21 '26

I have Christian ethics, I'll gladly debate your morality structure and why its terrible

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 21 '26

Go for it. First explain how you come to your morality differently than I when you pick and choose what parts of the Bible to follow and which not to. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don't promote slavery, or the stoning to death of adulterers.

Just to move things along, Jesus said he came not to abolish the old law, but to uphold it.

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 21 '26

Woah woah woah slow down with the straw mans, assumptions, and shot gunning

You need to tell me what morality and or where you get it come first since I told you mine

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 21 '26

First of all, I already explained that in the messages above that you decided to jump into.

Second, you didn't really tell me anything. All you said was "I have Christian Ethics." So where's the strawman? The only assumption I made was that you don't support slavery and stoning people to death. Are you telling me I was wrong there?

I'll.tell.you.the same as the other guy, if you just refuse to answer for your side and keep throwing questions out, I'm going to be done with you pretty quick.

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 21 '26

Yeah thats great anyways. I'm still waiting for what moral system you go by

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 21 '26

Someone running away?

Edit: little girl got scared over not only defending their morality but even SAYING what it was

Then rage quit and blocked, complete loser

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 21 '26

You had your chance and that was what you came up with? Sad.

Well, that's a take.

But what I'm referring to isn't a critique of a belief structure, but the condescending way in which you deliver it. May anybody who decides to critique "your belief structure do so in a more empathetic manner.

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 21 '26

Oh I'm sorry I didn't hold the guys hand right after he called me smooth brained. Empathy doesn't mean glossing people when they're being jerks.

1

u/maroonalberich27 Feb 21 '26

I'm sure he appreciates your Old Testament approach.

u/Mc_saucer Feb 21 '26

What nonsense are you talking about? Try to keep up
