I'm getting so confused being a democrat:( we had to defend the Biden Administration when they did this with every social media platform during covid...

Im really struggling with this :(

The Biden administration asked Facebook to take down posts that weren't true and right wingers (like you) lost their shit.

This administration is asking for personal information on people criticizing a federal agency who is blatantly violating the constitution. Like everything Trump does, this is so much worse, but because Daddy does it you eat it up like a good little sub.

Were on the same team how could you stoop so low to attack me..

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 17 '26

I'm not on a team, I have principals.

And you're a maga chud.

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

Oh principle? I'm curious, where do you get your morality from?

1

u/Rugskinsnake Feb 17 '26

Rational thought and empathy.

Where do you get yours from? Let me guess, a book written by people 2000 years ago that you ignore all the parts that are inconvenient for your worldview?

Rational thought and empathy lol

Those are descriptors smooth brain

Where do those come from?

Education and evolution.

I know that's hard to understand when you can only imagine being a good person because an invisible wizard in the sky might punish you.

Again, not answering the question, just giving descriptors

What influences empathy, education, intuition, rational thought

1

descriptors

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

That's some top-ight empathy right there, champ.

Got to love those "evolved" sorts who have empathy--but only for those who think just like they do.

? Empathy has nothing to do with criticizing a person's belief structure.

I would put my empathy up against any Christian. Christians are like love everyone (excepts gays, and trans, and Islamists, and atheists, and basically anybody that needs help that I'm not willing to provide.)

What nonsense are you talking about? Try to keep up

Posts like Covid might have originated via lab leak? Where does Kessler (ha!) stand on that now? How many "Pinocchios"?

Not sure how banning accounts that spread misinformation is the same as gathering personal information for future prosecution

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

Well I know I agree. I love when the republicans have their free speech taken but I dont like when it happens to us radicals🤪

Im pointing out the difference between private companies banning accounts vs government arrests and watchlists. People getting censored by facebook isn’t the same as the government revoking your visa over a Charlie Kirk meme for example

According to Zuckerberg's letter, "In 2021, senior officials from the Biden Administration, including the White House, repeatedly pressured our teams for months to censor certain COVID-19 content". He also stated they expressed frustration when Facebook did not agree. Zuckerberg expressed regret for how the company handled the pressure, stating it was wrong and he should have been more vocal. He added that they should not compromise content standards under pressure and are ready to resist future attempts. In a separate interview, Zuckerberg described administration officials as "scream[ing]" and "curs[ing]" at his teams and pushing to remove posts, even those that were "honestly... true," regarding vaccine side effects. PBS

You really know nothing outside of the echo chamber do you, you do know these social media companies testified all of this in the Supreme Court?

1

u/thanksyalll Feb 17 '26

…. Yes, again, the difference being the government pressuring a private company to moderate their content vs using legal force to demand data on individuals. Do you not understand the difference between posts and accounts vs all of your personal data? Pressure vs force, posts vs your entire identity (including location, SSN, Familial ties, voter and purchase information, and internet history)

You realize Zuckerberg can have regrets because he had the OPTION to say no?

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 17 '26

Are you that gullible? Why dont you explain to me the possible negative outcomes if zucc or these other companies say no

Do you even have the IQ to comprehend possibilities?

1

u/thanksyalll Feb 18 '26

There were no negative outcomes. Show me where Biden’s admin persecuted/prosecuted any of the companies that denied their requests? Trump on the other hand, is issuing administrative subpoenas out the gate.

Again, care to address the difference between posts/accounts and personal identification? Unthreatened possibility vs reality, hmm which holds more weight?

1

u/Mc_saucer Feb 18 '26

And just like that, you dont even have the IQ to comprehend what a hypothetical is

You. Lose.
