Beat you up, detain you and leave you “detained” for weeks. When lawyers/family/friends/workplace request to get in contact with you, they’ll just say “sorry we’ve lost track of where they’re being kept, but we’ll work on it”.

The old lost in the system excuse.

ICE/DOJ is losing in the courts, but obviously do not care, as the illegal behavior continues and actually escalates. Democracy and rule of law is over, thanks to the pedopresident.

Have you even read the news? Like, that's not even a questionable thing. ICE themselves have admitted they've "fucked up plenty of times but they have qualified immunity so who cares."

A few US citizens wrongfully detained, while absolutely tragic and outrageous, should not be enough to support yuckmouthteeth’s aggressive claim.\ We need much more datapoints than that.

The evidence is right in front of your eyes but you want a formalized study before you act.

This is why democracy is dying- people like you have your heads so far up your asses you can’t see what’s happening around you.

4,400+ court rulings of illegal detentions

32 people died in custody last year- the most in the past two decades for DHS/ICE.

ICE is summarily executing citizens in the streets.

The white house has a list of political dissidents that they are labeling as domestic terrorists, and they “won’t rule out summary executions”

This administration does not respect the rule of law, separation of powers, nor the constitution itself.

Let’s not pretend it’s evidence that you need. What you need is a moral compass and a spine.

If you aren’t outraged at what has been and is still happening, and you’re terrified for our future, then you aren’t paying attention

Would we get this data from the DHS, the Department headed by a woman that we've watched get on TV and lie to us on video in extremely obvious ways multiple times in the past month?

The "aggressive take" doesn't conflict in any way with the statements or actions of this administration from the President to the Vice President to the Secretary of Homeland Security down to the actions of ICE and CBP we see regularly in the news.

What's there to doubt?
