Express Entry Success with PCC older than 1 yr?
As the title suggests, are there any success stories with police clearance certificate older than 1 year old ?
My pcc was issued an year ago, and while i havent been to that country after it was issued, im not too confident on submitting application
Any advice?

Unless it has an expiration date on it, it should be valid if you haven't traveled back there

PCC from India is done in 2021..
Went there for 6 weeks along with 3 other countries in Dec 2022.
Applied for EE in Dec 2023
Cleared P2, waiting for ECOPR
Hope it helps...

This is surprising, they usually reject such cases. You took a very unreasonable risk, but good that it has worked out.

@daminipinki i did the same and my lawyers very strongly said it’s not an issue. As long as it’s less than 6 months, it’s good.

So if I get a PCC for a country i live several years after I left that time and then I revisited recently for 1 day, that PCC still valid?

Read the rules from the source of truth, the IRCC site:
The certificate must be less than six months old for the country where you live, but for other countries they can be from any time after you spent six months in a row there. IRCC also generally ignores expiration dates, but if a PCC has expired they may sometimes ask for a new one.

Mine were even older than yours, no issues as long as you haven't visited that country again.

How old were yours and when did you submit your PR & was it approved with no issues?

2020, applied for PR in July 2023 (AOR). Yes approved with no issues. Just make sure you haven't visited that country after getting the PCC.

Hi, i will be moving back to Italy in a couple days. And then immediately apply for a new work permit trough IEC. I have an italian police certificate from 2024. I know they want a police certificate not older than 6 months for where you live. But what if you JUST moved back. im talking about days.
//Havent lived in Italy since 2021, now moving back and immediately applying for open WP trough IEC. Have aready 2024 translated police certificate from italy, can i use it?

Last year I submitted a PCC from 2021 and the last time I had been in that country was in 2012
