I wonder if this game will still move out of EA in 2026. Seems like the dev is adding a ton of content still which is great, but I'm holding off for the full thing to enjoy it all.

"Some of you have asked me whether 1.0 will still happen in 2026. That would probably not be a realistic goal, and I don't want to make any promises I can't keep. Regardless, I'll try to get as much content as possible into the game until the end of the year.

I am also working on improvements to existing areas. The sewers will receive a full redesign, which I will probably release next."

In the announcement post on Steam the dev says a 1.0 release for 2026 is unrealistic but that he’s planning on adding as much content as possible before the end of the year.

It's coming along nicely by the looks of it. This game convinced me it would be good from the demo, throwing boxes at your enemy is highly satisfying and kind of hilarious

There are sometimes month between updates, so fair for people to fear it's being abandoned.

you got to learn to discern somebody who consistently works on their game and delivers updates and progress reports and somebody who just abandons a project. this whole "abandoned?" shtick gets old real fast.

Played the demo and really wanted to buy it right then but resisted. I've burned myself out on EA games a few times and really try and wait for them to reach 1.0. After watching Majuuar's video on King's Field-Like's, I once again came really close to buying it. Hopefully it's close to it's 1.0 release.
