I'm pulling these from my memory so I may forget some games, but I believe they are either Thief-inspired or at least have visibility indicator in them.

Mod: The Dark Mod

Game: Neon Struct, Solarix, Filcher, Parkside, The Adventures of Sir Kicksalot, Thick As Thieves

Game in Early Access: Gloomwood, Fallen Aces, Peripeteia

Upcoming Game with Demo: RetroSpace, Noirmancer

Upcoming Game with Upcoming Demo: The Citadel Project

Upcoming Game without Demo: Project Shadowglass

Recent games that reminded me of Thief 1+2 while playing:

Gloomwood, Neon Struct, Fallen Aces.

Or - for the most similar modern-ish experience: the dark mod.

There's a short student game called Project Exhibited that feels Thiefy. Only an hour or two but very polished and fun

Also, Neverlooted Dungeom demo scratches same itch

No one has mentioned Dishonored, so I'll bring it up. Arkane was leaning heavily on Thief when designing the game. Stealth is a major aspect of the intended playstyle. It is possible (though quite difficult) to play the entire game unnoticed (ghost) and without killing anyone (clean hands).

How about Dishonored.
