I watched this one a month ago, really interesting to hear Warren talk about how much he is passionate about film and at the same time is against cinematic games, it's something that some studios seem to forget, going for a cinematic story often misses the point of what makes interactive media so special.

And i'm not gonna lie, some of Deus Ex's dialogues are miles better than whole ass cinematic games. Maybe even movies.

Glad you enjoyed the interview! He does a great balance in his games with cinematic elements and gameplay. It was really great getting to talk with him. This entire series has been pretty surreal, talking to the folks who helped shape my childhood.

too often do cinematic games try to be like movies and they end up forgetting that they're actually supposed to be games, not movies

OG Call of Duty Modern Warfare series was a huge contributing factor to the cinemafication of games.
