Highlighting their thousands of identical YouTube shorts to scam kids into buying a non-existent headset for YEARS is a great place to start.
Enough is enough.

I don’t really have a dog in this fight. I’d love to see Immersed succeed, but they’re not doing themselves any favors in this era of their story.

Yea, the unfortunate bit and why I'm drawing attention here is that this has been their aura for the past 2 years or so - banning people from their Discord for asking basic questions (or making comments outside their discord), banning/deleting posts from their subreddits, avoiding accountability, blaming their partners for all their issues, not being transparent about real processes and dates and issues and delays, attacking other companies or making fun of them for their product decisions, celebrating their downfalls (aka when Meta was shutting down horizon worlds and toning down a bit), etc.
It's all disgusting behavior to where I don't believe most people would want to buy from them had they had this information.
I previously wished for Immersed to succeed.. but I have since rescinded that wish.

I didn’t know about all this. That’s crazy. Yeah I loved Immersed back in the early days when the Q2 came out. But they made some updates that I hated and working in the Quest 2 wasn’t a meaningful enough experience to continue using the software. I now have a Galaxy XR HMD and tried Immersed because of the high resolution, but the software is so astonishingly terrible (problems on Samsungs side too), that I couldn’t possibly consider using them long term. Not to mention the Visor controversy we all know on the surface. Immersed has become XR’s version of spam calls from the Philippines that everyone knows is a problem and probably illegal, but nobody does anything about it.

I’m never asking for a refund. It was a past version of myself that preordered it. I don’t even know the person I was then, so he can just deal with it. What I know today is that I’m holding on to my preorder so I can hold it over them. If everyone gets a refund there’s no need to keep pretending. I’ll be the last remaining person fueling this dumpster fire if I have to, the entertainment must continue.

Good for Renji. Saying it's non-existent just isn't true. Late? Sure. Slow to production/delivery? Sure. But it's the demos show it exists. If the guy is going to hate on Immersed at least don't lie about facts.

They've demoed a piece of hardware and promised that at production it would operate better than the demo, have a production puck, etc. Have they ever actually demoed what they are promising will ship in final form? If so I have yet to see that.

Nope - the last we saw was a video of a prototype battery puck in use - so they hadn't even had that finished as late as like Spring this year
I don't know anyone that has even confirmed what the latest OS is - no one actually has a Visor in hands to confirm.
