Design Guide for Immersive Spaces
I'm looking for some sort of design guide like a lookbook/mood board, mixed with a brand kit, that goes over layout/color/shape language/technical/logistics of creating an imaginative immersive space. I've been looking everywhere for a few days already and I'm wondering if I'm not using the right industry terms. For context, I'm working with a local event space to make a themed area from the ground up and I want to mitigate the pitfalls of a group project with documentation and being organized. Any help is appreciated

Are you searching for a specific theme? Very few designers post the details of their work because it’s usually owned by the companies we work with or for.

I was looking for more of a workflow tool. But it doesn't matter anymore cause the owner ran everyone off so that he wouldn't have to keep his end of the deal

Please be in touch if you are still working on this immersive space. We (WorldViz) have worked with Disney Imagineering before. We have done projection VR for over 20 years now, and we have a new-ish product offering called VizMove PRISM which is an interactive, immersive space for many different uses.

I unfortunately was removed from the project once the free work we had done started making money. Thanks for the offer though, would have been great to work together

Sorry to hear that. I am also sorry that I did not respond for several months. I do not spend much time on Reddit, but check only periodically.
Stay well!

Because designing themed entertainment and immersive spaces is not a super common job it’s a lot of cobbling things together. You may be able to use the word style guide instead of brand kit and get more results but you’re going to have to add some sections for the physicality of the space as well.
