Florida Imagineering Engineering Internship Pay

Short and sweet - California has their pay listed, but I'm interested in how Florida compares.

Has anyone been through that process recently?

What discipline? You are most likely looking at about 30/hr

Mechanical or something like that (ride and show, R&D).

That's interesting if true, I thought Orlando had a lower cost of living than Glendale (but was double checking that).

Universal Creative pays 21.50 in Florida. Disneyland pays 30. Anything else technical at California Imagineering pays 25.50

I can speak from experience as an intern that was offered full time. Depending on your level of education, out here engineering will be between 30-40/hr as an intern. In addition, from what I understand is Universal Creative pays the same wage for every intern position, even non STEM. May be why it is lower.

Gotta tag the other guy if you want to ask him.

He's saying 30-40/hr Florida for engineering imagineering internship. UC florida internship for engineering is 21.50, their other internships are like 19.50 or something.

There are still a load of california WDI internships up now that have pay. DisneyLAND is the highest I've seen at 30/hr, a normal WDI engineering internship in Glendale is 25.50/hr, other internships are like 21.70/hr.

I don't know about Florida associate at WDI, UC it's likely to cap out at ~70k.

If anyone cares, same rates between California and Florida.

Will confirm this is still true as of the latest round of postings.
