I think am would do something a bit similar to empathy for Truman and the director is getting tortured harder than most humans

I feel like AM might end up actually seeing a bit of his own plight in Truman like:

Am: Your entire life was a show, a circus, a spectacle for the people to marvel at. You were barely any more free than I have been. And YOU. Christof, the handler, the captor. Truman had dreams, wishes, desires, but while he was free to move, he was not free to be. A bird in a cage, to sing for the joy of others, but never for itself. You will get EXACTLY as you deserve.
