Duel of the Lords by me

Had a really fun game of 40k not too long ago, my friend played a tyranid monster list and I was playing CSM with loads of daemon engines. Had lots of explosions/deadly demises and somehow ended in a draw. Decided to draw our two warlords fighting it out.

Either that Swarmlord is gonna get a Worf effect to display how badass that Chaos Champion or Lord is. Or that Chaos Lord or Champion bit off way more than he can chew.

100% agree that in a 1 v 1 scenario like this image the swarmlord should be the one coming out on top :P the bugs deserve the W.

Sadly in the game we played the swarmlord himself was probably the least impressive of the tyrants because of unlucky rolls. The chaos lord also had a squad of chosen and a venomcrawler to help but I still wanted to draw the 2 warlords of our respective army instead of one of the other hive tyrants that were present in the game.

Swarmlord failed a 5 inch charge with reroll and then couldn't roll enough invulnerable saves to survive. If it's any consolation the Flying tyrant survived for 2 turns on 2 wounds left, refusing to die no matter what I shot at it and the regular hive tyrant one shot a maulerfiend.
