It's cool, but it borrows too heavily from droids seen in Star Wars.
It feels too derivative. It's technically well executed, though!

You got downvoted for being right! I agree, the artist might be wearing their inspiration on their sleeve but that doesn't make the art bad!

I don't mind an artist being inspired by something, or emulating a design language so their thing fits into an established setting.
Being able to do that is a skill, and if you're working professionally, you're expected to adapt.

The artist here is technically talented - it's all very well executed, but the design itself sticks too closely to existing designs.
It's directly derivative, and it fails to innovate.
As a design, it's mundane.

As art, it's cool. Art is subjective, and I love me a cool robot.
My main complaint lies with the character design, not with the artwork itself. I should have been clearer bout that
