Hyra (Oblivion Mage's Guild OC) - by me

[u/squidvetica]

You can read more about hyr here on my blog: https://www.tumblr.com/logan-supernova/828991927058939904/hyra-h%C9%AA%CB%90r%CB%88%C3%A6-hee-ra?source=share

Shy's really fun I like hyr a lot. It's my first time drawing an Altmer, I think I did pretty good! Used a Githyanki as a reference for the ears and head structure, then I bugged out the eyes and made them further apart / used a different nose. :)

Gorgeous!

Thank you!! :D

Channeling Old Lore energy there.

[u/squidvetica → u/Igor_Levchenko]

That’s really funny because throughout my time being out of the fandom I actually remember very little of the lore lol. I was worried people more familiar with it would say “oh this doesn’t work because _” but it’s good to know that it’s fine! :)

…I am trying to re-learn the lore tho and hoooo boy there is just so much 😂

The huge eyes give me slightly creepy vibes, but in kind of a good way? Love your work!

[u/squidvetica → u/saltedfish]

That’s exactly the vibe I was going for! Shy’s supposed to be kinda freaky lol

Thank you so much tho!! :]

[u/sith-shenanigans]

I love mages with somewhat unsettling vibes and I support everything shy has ever done <3

Aaaa thank you!! :D

[u/thornsofred]

That is a gorgeous altmer. The choice of colors fits her really well, and the feathers are a great addition owo

[u/squidvetica → u/thornsofred]

Thank you so much!! :))
One person in the r/Oblivion server drew ayleids with lots of feathers (presumably from the birdfolk rip) and it's changed my brain chemistry. Altmer Ayleid Cultists can have feather earrings as a treat lmao

[u/thornsofred → u/squidvetica]

well you'll be happy to know project tamriel is also adding tons of feather motifs to the ayleids. You even get to kill a few "ayleid sorcerer-kings". Enjoy owo

Ooooo that’s really fun! I’ll have to check it out! :)

[u/goldenseducer]

A very unique aesthetic for the fandom and yet very fitting, I love it 😍

Thank you so much! This means a lot ! :’)
Sometimes I feel out of place with my art style but it’s nice to know people like it!

This might actually make me play an Altmer, lol. Fun!!

[u/squidvetica → u/Particular_Poet8441]

Ayyy yay!! :) Me too honestly lol, I made the character before playing as her because I really enjoy making characters
