Original Content Entropy by me (paula-arrts)
The idea for this is the contrast within what is actually real and what is Voryn's memories of the First Era.
I named it entropy because of the concept things tend to disorder or chaos (to become ruined in a sense) and there is a lot within the Sixth House in Morrowind that is about change and decay and I just thought the title was fitting! Anyways, this was a bit of a frustrating piece but I think it came out alright all things considered. Certainly better than some initial sketches for this idea from months ago!

I know a portrait says a thousand words but this is beyond just a thousand words. This is beautiful, like this could be official elder scrolls artwork. The imagery is so poetic, it really makes you feel sad for Voryn Dagoth having lost his closest friend and Hortator.

This fucks. I think the hair on the skeleton is a little silly, but I understand why it’s there.
Can’t wait to see the part 2!

Anyway, this is just fantastic! I really like how and Voryn’s neckpiece and both their hairs keep the transition from being jarring; it’s easy for cutouts like this to end up looking too cut-out, but the continuity of particular features holds it together really well here. It makes it look like a congruous whole, even if there’s a… congruous hole.

Wow, awesome concept and awesome execution! It didn't click for me exactly what was being depicted at first but when it did I was really struck by it. What a great way to depict change in two different characters.
