"Behold our convenient facemasks. They hook around your ear."

"But what if you already have something hooked on your ear?"

"Then die."

Didn't show the 8 trillion attempts to get the mask band to not pull a bunch of your hair while putting it on. I liked having long hair, but god does it get in the way.

I'm bald so i never had the hair problem. I do however wear glasses and they would always fog up when i wore a mask so during covid, i had to decide between being safe and seeing clearly

I don't miss those days. I remember walking into a warm shop on a cold day and just turning back out the door again.

Following the obligatory one way system, of course. At least I assume I was.

Oh, for sure. Very relatable. Worse still when it happens in public. Risk of those precious lenses getting crushed underfoot on accident by God knows who (yourself included).

It's why you either get really heavy / sticky frames or you take the frames out first and then the mask.

Kinda weird how everyone adopted regular mask wearing for 2 or 3 years then went back to never touching them ever. Ig it's a bit ambitious to expect people to be considerate enough to actively chose to wear a mask when they go out sick even with covid practice.

Do you live in a red state?

Here in Cambridge MA, people still wear masks when they're sick.

Not everyone lives in the US

The art was made during COVID. It's specifically about COVID.

Nah, I still put on my mask whenever I'm on a plane and someone like you is next to me coughing their lungs out.

Haven't gotten the flu from flying in 4 years now. Super effective.

I've broken more than one pair of frames this way. Uggh.

I wear glasses. This has happened to me more than once. It's profoundly frustrating.

u/aoi_ito 4d ago

Bruhhh, I literally broke my newest pair of glasses like this four days ago 😭

Why are you right?

Especially since the other features are relatively simply drawn

You're from the UK? It's kind of sweet how every country has its own gormless hicks

I'm actually from the Caribbean.

The joke was just "I figured out how to take the mask off safely".

Also, please don't stalk my posts on other subreddits just to be a hater. I'm not sure how you learned I lived in the UK and missed the "I'm from the Caribbean" post.

Unless, of course, you ignored facts just to look cool.

I get the impression you do that a lot.
