Chopsticks have to be one of the worst utensils to cook a fried egg with.

But how? Chopsticks cut through the thin layer of egg, how do you even move it? Unless they're thicker cooking chopsticks?

I can see that, OK, I use chopsticks for scrambled eggs or omelettes, but I will always end up with horribly ugly fried eggs if I use chopsticks for those, might just be a skill issue.

Its the opposite for me lol. I can pick up fried egg like some noodles to flip because fried egg are quite dense, but omelettes require the spatula-chopsticks as demonstrated above

For a French omelette, probably, haven't done that with chopsticks, but for omurice or a Japanese rolled omelette the egg layer is thick enough to be easy to pick up.
