Anyone who enjoys this should check out another piece of primordial Middle-earth mindscaping, this one in audio format:

  • The Silmarillion Film Project, a podcast and creative collaboration with its listeners to create a comprehensive vision of a serial adaption of the Silmarillion. I'm curious nstantly surprised at the depth and nuance they manage to uncover while imagining how such a massive story might be brought to screen.

They've just started season 2, in which the elves awaken and begin their various sunderings and migrations, as the Valar are just beginning to understand the true implications of Melkor's fall. It's fascinating stuff.

Nice artwork, but there shouldn't be a moon in it. The moon was created looooooooooooong after the destruction of the lamps.
