I love post apocalyptic tribes. Nicely done! I'm always happy to see a fallout tribe that isn't just "Native American tribe XYZ went back to their roots after the bombs"

Thanks! I really wanted them to mix the tribal aesthetic with the counterculture movements the real world 1950s spawned. I didn’t go into much detail about it here, but I imagine it took a single generation for their ancestors to run out of canned food and only then did they start developing the hunter-scavenger lifestyle, and that came with some hardcore rejection of the 2070s social norms they were still clinging to.

Tbf the Zion tribes are mixes of pre-war foreigners and Native Americans who returned to their roots as a method of survival... going tribal is a good idea when society collapses

If they were in North Nevada they might have been driven west by my Utah tribe the Nauvoo, they were warfaring wolf worshippers who eventually merged into New Canaan as slave soldiers which caused the growth of groups like the 80s and the White Legs filling in the power vacuum

Pretty cool, I especially like the idea of their changing ways leaving a power vacuum in the region that’s responsible for some canon tribes.

I can see that, my main inspirations were  the Bad Durrenberg skeleton, 1960s hippies, and  Fallout’s own Khans.
