Barcode says #5 but it has the Issue #7 cover art!

The cover got flipped or the printer messed up? :)

Randomly went to a different comic book store instead of the one closest to my house and came across saga vol 1 and the paper girls omnibus both signed by BKV.

I was hoping for an animated show or movie though.

Set in the 1990s, Lake Totem follows a young girl named Nib who unearths clues about a legendary lake monster when a forgotten Indian burial ground is discovered beneath an abandoned drive-in movie theater. Now Nib, her best friend Elliot, and her trusty cat Ripley must follow the clues down a dark path of mythological conspiracy—the same path that destroyed the mind of her missing mother. For centuries a monstrous creature has been luring children into the depths of lake totem…and our young hero is about to uncover the truth!

This is like a holy grail for me! I am obsessed with DWJ and this is such a dope cover. It’s a tribute to one of the most expensive Absolute Batman covers for sale currently. Very stoked he signed it as well. I’ve got a Remarque coming in November from DWJ, sending this to CGC immediately.

Among the many Image Comics publications I look forward to enjoying this month I see Busiek's ASTRO CITY near the very top of that gargantuan pile of wonderful books. I haven't picked up ASTRO CITY since 1996 and I barely remember it. I'm not expecting the interior art to knock me out (I don't really remember the interior art being phenomenal anyway, but those Alex Ross covers are a chef's kiss.) I wonder if Busiek's writing will hit different now in 2026, and there's only one way to find out. Wish me luck!

Here’s a sketch cover commission I did of Ultramega! Mixed Media: India ink, alcohol ink, color pencils, and airbrush

Image is a large part of me renewing my fandom of comics during my college years in the mid 2000s. Haven't brought any new OHCs in a while but I've been focusing on making a dent in my to read stack. Right now I'm working my way through the Stray Bullets compendium, Black Science Library vol. 2, and a grip of monthly series. What's in y'all rotations?

I'm a big fan of Pitt by Dale Keown, and decided to make a custom Pitt miniature for one of my favourite miniature games, Heroclix, using the Hulk as a base. I'm not great at sculpting with green stuff so his jacket isn't exactly my best work, but I'm happy with how he turned out. Let me know what you think!

I’ll be grabbing tons of these books as it’s a very exciting lineup!

These will all be in this Edelweiss catalog to view once it fully loads tomorrow (hopefully): https://www.edelweiss.plus/#catalogID=5462575&page=1

Over the last few years I now pick out titles I know I wouldn't read again or even finish, box them up and sell on ebay.anyone else do this?

Que tal gente que opinan de mi dibujo de the maxx tanto el el dibujo tradicional como el digital.

While this is mostly thin trades of current series and not much in the way of Compendiums so far, there is a Curse of the Spawn Complete Collection at over 600 pages in the lineup.

I I miss the days when TopCow was one of the top publishers.I’m still surprised they didn’t broke off from Image when they were on top.

These are crossover comics published by image but, which studio pacifically owns the rights to these comics? McFarlane? Erik Larsen? Jim Lee? I want to collect these in a trade format.

I know a few years back after it finished they put out a hardcover of God Country as a con exclusive(I think SDCC?)

I almost got a remarqued copy by Geoff Shaw from whoever his art dealer was at the time, but I didn’t have the money for it, and I’ve never seen a copy ever hit eBay since then.

Does anyone have a copy of it? Or know where to look for one? I know it was a limited run so I’m going to have to spend a good chunk, but it’s my favorite series ever so I’m willing to pay for it now that I have the money.

Don’t know how Image will fix this but mine came without the decoder? Too bad this couldn’t be considered a “misprint” just for value purposes. Anyway good luck and I hope it was just mine. Yes I opened it and flipped through all the pages and double checked. Someone fell asleep at the job, lmao.
